You can collect your backpacks between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Please return all equipment before 5:30 PM.
Parking is available on site.
Bookings close at 10:00 AM on the day before your reservation. For Sunday bookings, registrations close at 10:00 AM on the preceding Friday.
Upon arrival, a deposit will be required in the form of an ID card or driving licence to ensure respect for the environment and the return of the equipment in good condition.
You may cancel your reservation until midnight two days before the scheduled date. For example, for a booking on Friday, cancellation is possible until midnight on the preceding Wednesday. In the event of cancellation, a voucher will be issued for a future GrillHike experience.
Upon arrival, you will be able to choose from three different routes.
We will provide you with a marked map as well as a QR code to download the GPX track. We recommend downloading a free GPS application such as Wikiloc before your departure to make navigation easier. Please download the app and create your account at home to save time.
Suitable hiking shoes or comfortable trainers, as the walk mainly follows dirt tracks and forest trails.
Clothing appropriate for the season. Please note that temperatures in the High Fens can be cooler than where you live.
Something to sit on in nature (blanket, sheet, etc.).
Enough water to stay hydrated. You can refill your bottles at our water fountain.
